Add new Java System Property  RSS feed

hi guys, i have a property that i need to set 'permanently' into Java system property list..

i get a list of Java system property as below:


so how to add in my own property the list above? or i should add in other place?
myreport.path=c:\

You can use the -D flag on the command line : java -Dmyreport.path=c:\ MainClass

is there any physical .properties file that i can put in the extra sys property.. instead of using parameter based..

If you read the file yourself and call System.setProperty, yes. Check this.
