Is the book covering some third party GWT libraries like simple gwt or ext gwt (sencha)?

I’m excited to see a book covering GWT 2! My two questions are the following:

In the MVP section, do you simply elaborate on the core concepts and “roll your own” solution or do you also cover a library such as GWTP or gwt-presenter/gwt-dispatch?

In the security section do you show any examples integrating with a framework such as Spring Security?

Hi!

No, I opted against that, because sometimes they cause extra problems -- by not co-existing gracefully with GWT's panels or events, for example, or by causing testing problems with widgets that actually are a composite of several widgets. I did a project using such libraries, and went through one after the other, having problems which only got solved by going back to "100% pure GWT".
