C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_15

I will start JSF chapter soon in my text, well this is included in my JDK so Tomcat or JBoss are ok to run JSF[local host]?

As for live server online[not local host], needed dedicated servers or v-dedicated servers to run JSF, AND SHARED HOSTING ENVIRONMENTS will fail run JSF?

You need at least Tomcat version 5.5. Tomcat6 is recommended. JBoss AS 5 has JSF support built into it.

For testing purposes, you can run Tomcat or JBoss as a user-space application on your local machine without the need for root privileges. Most of us do.
