Hi ,

We are developing a GIS Application , which includes providing services like GoogleEarth , ours is related to Power Domain only (Seeing the View on to the Browser ) we are doing this using using Oracles Mapviewer .This is our basic service as which my company is doing from tradation and which we are familiar with .

We are also requested to provide a Web Service , which accepts a Location name and returns Location coordinates of that passed Location .

Please tell me How can we integrate this web service in our Application ??

Please suggest me Is it better to keep this as a separate Application or to integrate as our Application .

Architects and experts , please share your knowledge .

Thanks in advance.

I'll move this now. But while posting make sure that you choose the correct forum. Performance forum for this question isn't the right place.

Hello,
in the simple case it's like that.
Your existing application:

New wrapper for your class

You can create these classes in your app or package your logic in jar and than use jar in new webservice app. If existing app is SE, use jar packaging. If you app already contains web part, EJB and so on, just wrap logic classes.
