When we are programming java with groovy, are we using a new framework? or struts and tapestry...these are all compatible with groovy API? Is it the JVM which compiles the groovy to Java bytecodes?

Sreerupa, frameworks and tools may recognize Groovy and work closely with them. If they don't, but use Java, you can write Groovy code and compile it to Java bytecode and still use Groovy that way.
