I am looking for a few small examples of Datasets.
Usually if I can look at the code, I can figure out how it works.

I was surprised I couldnt' find a lot about Datasets online.

It appears not to be a standard part of the Java API, but if you Google, you will find something. This, for example, is from MSDN about the C# DataSet class. I hope it is of use to you

Yes I did find that there were examples of Datasets in other languages.
I did find an example in my book..
I am looking for other examples to look at.
So in looking at this example it looks like it is using HashSet not Dataset.
I am guessing the assignment I am doing used the term Dataset
with the understanding that I would know it ment for me to use Hashset's.

Please avoid line numbers between code tags; the code tags add their own line numbers.

It would appear that you require an ordinary Set for that example, not a data set; HashSet is the prime suspect for such an application.

Thank you, I have also been doing some reading about the Collections interface.
hashsets are a part of that interface I believe. (Big Thanks)

You're welcome
There is quite a lot in the Java™ Tutorials.

Careful about the nomenclature.

Not "hashset" but "HashSet", which is a class which implements the Set interface and is part of the collections framework.
