If you are really not looking only to pass the exam, that's really great.
If that so, you really don't need to compare your examlab scores with a ready-for-exam score. Perhaps,
you should happy about getting low scores, because a low score implies that you can learn many new things by reviewing that exam. When reviewing, you must clearly figure out everything what went wrong. Try to prepare a list of new things that you learned by reviewing the exam. You can use this kind of strategy for learning for the sake of learning, not just for the sake of exam. Accordingly, that should well-prepare you towards the exam too.
