I'm a fresher beginning to learn frameworks

can anybody tell me what is a framework used for in detail .

what is the difference between STRUTS & HIBERNATE & its individual uses & benifits.

Hi saurabhthard,

are you aware of core JAVA, servlet, JSP?

if yes then start with small application by using servlet jsp first. Then try with some framework.

Frameworks attempt to eliminate duplicated functionality often needed in whatever problem space they address. Struts (either version) is one way to define a web application. Hibernate is one way to approach the object/relational DB impedance mismatch.

They try to solve *completely* different problems; any comparison between them is meaningless.
