Hi
I was running a sample web service illustrated in the following URL

http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jst/components/ws/1.5/tutorials/BottomUpWebService/BottomUpWebService.html

But am getting the following error

IWAB0489E Error when deploying Web service to Axis runtime
axis-admin failed with {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}HTTP (502)Proxy Error ( Connection refused )

I have just installed Tomcat 5.5 but not installed Axis

Do I need to download and install Axis also?

Yes, you will need to download axis and set Axis home in eclipse.
