Hello guys,

I was trying to find some options or library for controlling Windows Media Services from JAVA. What i found was a SDK available for .net. But I could not find anything for JAVA.

I am using Windows Media Services in Windows server 2003. I want to access the publishing points through the JAVA code.

Kindly suggest the way out.

Best,
Kishan.

I doubt there is a Java API for this. I would try to create a Java-.NET bridge; Google should help you there.

Or maybe those services have command line executables through which they can be controlled? Then you could use Runtime.exec or ProcessBuilder.

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestions.

@Rob: I will try doing it. For the fist time I will be making a bridge between JAVA n .net. Can you suggest some good example to start with?
@Lester: I will check it out. So far I haven't seen any command line. Once I get the chance to access the server I will try to find it out.

Regards,
Kishan.

If there are command line tools then the documentation should tell you about them; there's probably no need to have access to the server.
