Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to pass parameter from EL expression to JSF backing bean.

I am using JSF1.2.

Thanks.

Unfortunately this isn't supported in JSF 1.2 if you don't use JBoss Seam. However there is still a workaround for this descript here.

Do not use JSF version 1. It has been outdated for about 10 years now and you're not going to find much support for it.

In any event, you're not supposed to "pass parameters" to a backing bean. You're supposed to reference bean properties. JSF will automatically set them in the backing bean.
