How many times to implement the interface?

My solution has similarities (and differences) with Dennys model and I'm wondering about the interface and how I'm using it.

I'm using the interface 3 times and was wondering if thats ok:

1 I'm using a facade to the Data class so this uses the interface
2 Data class (requirement to use the interface)
3 I'm using the interface for the socket side of things.

How many times is reasonable to use the DB interface for this project before its considered over-used and bad programming (possibly a fail)?

A fail will only be considered if you break a "must" requirement. That's a clear instruction. I guess if your code deadlocks or if your code contains more bugs than working code, you will fail too. Using an interface more than once, could result in point deduction, but not to failure. And because scores are not mentioned anymore, you'll never know.

I used the DB interface just once. My own interface extends the DB interface (and is implemented by Data). I didn't use a facade, nor a sockets solution. So I have another interface used for RMI, containing completely other methods than the DB interface because I prefered a thin client approach.
