I have a form that contains several input fields, one being an html:file tag. If validation of the form fails, the value the user supplied to the html:file field is lost and the user must enter the value (via the browse button) again.

Can anyone help me understand why the value of the html:file field is being reset and what I can do to prevent it?

The harder you work, the luckier you get. This tiny ad brings luck - just not good luck or bad luck.
