I'm currently studying for the SCEA - and the fields that I am least proficient in are EJBs (Spring has been my life saver), JMS (always webservices) and JCA (never used).

No worries - I'm fully aware that I could just browse to the relevant specification, but what I'm rather looking for is a summary that concentrates on the aspects relevant to the exam (part one). Does anyone have any hints on study material/summaries on any of the three subjects? I have been using Cade's study guide, but somehow I have the feeling that the book only skimms each technology section.

Of course I'm also thankful for any insight on how tough questions in this area will be - from those of you who have already taken the exam - in order to know how deep to dwell on the subjects.

Many thanks in advance for any info/links etc....

The Cade book does skim the surface, but I didn't find the exam *that* much deeper.

See my full write up of my thoughts on part 1.

For a summary about those parts you can read JEE 5 tutorial and try out the mentioned examples.

You can go through the basics of mentioned technologies and may (in my view) requires some practical experiences. For more detail, you can browse my blog on this: http://visitgaurav.blogspot.com/2010/08/crack-sun-certified-enterprise.html
