Hi,
while displaying validation errors in
jsp
I caught with this exception
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: The absolute uri: http://www.springframework.org/tags/form cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application
even when I entered
<jsp-config> <taglib> <taglib-uri>http://www.springframework.org/tags</taglib-uri> <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/spring.tld</taglib-location> </taglib> </jsp-config>
which results in the same exception...
JSP code :::
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?> <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c" %> <%@ taglib prefix="form" uri="http://www.springframework.org/tags/form" %> <%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1"%> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>Insert title here</title> </head> <body> <form:form method="post" commandName="student"> <spring:errors path="*" cssClass="errorblock" element="div"/> Enter ID ::: <form:input path="stid"/> <form:errors path="stid"/> Enter PassWord ::: <form:input path="stpw"/> <form:errors path="stid"/> <input type="submit" value="Login"></input> <br></br> <a href="Register.jsp"><b><i>New Student ??? </i></b></a> </form:form> </body> </html>
