Hi folks,

I am aware of client side technologies, which I think are UI generation like html/css/flex/js bunch.

I was curious to know, how do you label the technologies like JMS, integration using Mule, etc. Are they components of server-side/framework-side programming ?
If not, then what are the main technologies etc used in server-side/framework-side programming ? Or what do you actually mean by server-side/framework-side programming ?

(I am not referring to the back-end stuff which deals with database.
Also, by frameworks, I don't mean web frameworks like struts etc, but the code in an application which is NOT concerned with the UI part, but which is required for the core functionalities of the application)
