Hello everybody,

I'd like to announce that on September 13, 2010 I passed SCDJWS5 exam in Poland with score 77%. The exam included 65 questions and took 150 minutes. The passing score on the Examination Score Report was 42%.

According to Section Analysis my Achilles' heel was Web Services Interoperability Technologies with score 20% (1 of 5 correct answers). This is because I didn't even try to excercise creating WS clients from Visual Studio for .NET framework.

I started my study with "Java Web Services Up & Running" book, which was a really good starting point for such a newbie in WS technologies ;) Then I bought mock questions from Mikalai Zaikin and tried to answer those questions, looking at Ivan Krizsan's free exam notes.

I'd like to thank both Mikalai and Ivan for their really valuable study materials! After the exam I think that it would be (at least for me) enough to read, understand and memorize some of those 400 pages of Ivan's notes, in order to pass the exam. My general impression was that the exam was not focused on code, but rather on general design and concept of Web Services. I spent much of time coding while I was learning for the exam, which is of course not wasted time at all

Best regards,
Daniel Stankiewicz
