Hi

Any one please help me to add a gif image which should get displayed when a process is going on in my swing application..

What have you tried already? Did you find some classes in the javax.swing package that might be able to help you? ShowSomeEffort.

In addition to what Rob Prime has already said, I'd recommend you break your problem up into smaller pieces, and be very specific about what those pieces are. As of now, we have no way to know which part of this you're having trouble with- Loading an image? Loading a gif image? Displaying it? Displaying it for a certain amount of time? Stopping displaying it after that amount of time? Determining the beginning and end of a certain process?

Concentrate on one of those pieces at a time, perhaps even further breaking each one up into even smaller parts. If you get stuck on a specific piece, then show us where you're stuck, and be as specific as possible.
