Hello everybody,

I would like to have a specific file extension be associated with windows so everytime I click on a file with that extension my program will start up. For that I have used
JDesktop Integration Components. I would now like to know if and how can I pass the name of the file being doubleclicked into the main method's parameters, so that file is open in the program. In this case it is an encrypted archive using the TZP file extension. Something like this but it doesn't work. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Sure you can. When you set up the file association, just pass the file name in exactly the same way that (for example) the association for .doc passes the file name to Word.
