I want to create an app that uses a WSDL to interact with a web service, is this possible and which libraries should I start reading up on?

AFAIK, Android SDK does not have any libraries that help in consumption of SOAP based web services. People have tried ksoap-2 with varying degree of success. You might want to look at that.

Thanks Monu

Yeah I've had a look at that and read some reviews/comments, apparently its a particulary crude way of using SOAP on android.

REST seems supported a lot better, so a good option might be to implement Android/REST and then have a REST/SOAP translation layer in between
