Hey Guys,

I'm new member to this community. I read many topics and realized that you all are a real helpful bunch. Coming to the point, I m planning to take the SCJP Exam by end of October, 2010. I'm a BE Information Technology graduate, I have moderate programming skills, and I'm also referring to the bible. My queries are as follows:

1) How to apply for the exam:? Voucher is no longer given. I'm currently residing in New Delhi.

2) Is 20 days sufficient for clearing this exam ?

3) Are there extra benefits for scoring more than 90-95% marks?

Welcome to JR Vineet

Did you check with a NIIT center ? They sell vouchers. I am not sure if they still do but it would not hurt to try.

2) Is 20 days sufficient for clearing this exam ?

I would say no. But I have seen programmers who have been able to complete the exam within 20 days. May be you are one of them

3) Are there extra benefits for scoring more than 90-95% marks?

Nope. The final certification will not tell you what your % is.

ragi please do not hijack the thread. If you have a question, post it in a new thread.

Thanks a lot Deepak. I ll try your option. I think I'll postpone taking this exam to end of Nov, just so that it doesn't get too hectic for me.
