Greetings to Mr. Frieson!
Just wondering what the thoughts were on Android (
Java) versus iPhone (Objective-C) in the market place. Do you think Apple has any plans to offer an iPhone running Android? If they don't, and with the momentum Android is presently experiencing, will not opening it only further the Android cause? With the announcement that the iPhone will be offered on Verizon around the end/beginning of the year (I think a year earlier than previously rumoured) I can't help but wonder if this is an Apple step to retain market share. Which begs the question, How long before they open the platform a bit more?
It took decades before they opened the Macs to Intel & Windows.
What a wonderful world that would be for a Java enthusiast.
Thanks, Ed.
