Hi,

How can i get the following details from a client request..

1) Client IP - request.getRemoteAddr();
2) Browser getHeader("User-Agent") - Will this be suffiecient..i have my doubts
- Name (for IE8, got MSIE 7.0)
- Version

3) Client OS -
4) System Info
5) Referrer URL request.getheader("Referer");

Or we need to send these details from client to server through javascript...

Regards

Why don't you print out all parameters that come in to check whether what you need is inlcuded or not?

Well let me rephrase my question

Is it possible to read 2) 3) 4) from the request object ...or any other way (when i say any other way ..its non-explicit way of client sending them as request.getParameters)

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
