No i encountered no problems with the review buttons or anything. Just in the last, when the exam was over, my score did NOT appear on the screen, rather it was printed on the administrator's desk and got to know the score a few minutes after the completion of the exam. (the longest minutes of my life :P)

and if your are PASSING the exam lab, you will ACE the real exam ;) All the best

when i am done with exam,i click finish, and then print the exam, then there was an error in printing the result, then i called the centre in charge to have a look,he then come and try to reprint again,it again choked showing error,i was scared, but then trying third time print out finally comes.
i have encountered one question says choose two options, but there was radio button in that.

OMG Arjun! how did you manage to pass those few minutes when your score wasn't printing? that's too much torture for a person who has given a certification exam!! Anyways, you got a GREAT percentage in the end, so all faults forgiven ;)

yea that was a OMG situation,
i have completed the exam in one hour, got only 4 questions wrong.
but finally i got a relief when i saw the print out!!
congrats to you also,nice scores!
when i showed prometric centre incharge about the question that come with radio button and demanding to choose two options, she says there is always one question in SUN exam which are just not calculated they are for company internal assesment.
i said ok,fine.

hmmm the incharge must be just bluffing to get the well "charge" off the company :P because there are DEFINED number of questions, how can they have an extra one for "internal assesment"? total nonsense! Anyways, again, you got a great percentage so sab maaf ;)

Oh BTW, what is this logo thing? My friend's in college said that you'll get a logo or something. I just knew about the certificate and badge..you have any idea?

first of all send your details given on your exam score report to: suncert_ww@oracle.com,then within a day they will contact you and send you an id for activation of your account on sun website, then you will be able to download the logo.
i have registered today on www.certmanager.net/sun for my certification update on sun website, got a email from them today only with id.

yea,nothing is happening,
i think the information that we have provided, they will first verify and update it in their database and then we can proceed with that logo thing.

Hi Kiran,

What do you mean when you ask for a "dump"?

I think I know what he means by "dump". It's previous questions from the exams. People cram the answers in, in like 2 weeks and go write the exam and get a very high mark without even knowing the basics. I know a few people who've got above 90% with this technique. Personally I think it's shameful.

Lot of people use the word "dump" and i guess they mean "mock tests" by it.

@Kiran: Explore the net! you'll get tons and tons of practice questions. And you can start off by exploring THIS terrific website itself! Just go Here

Hey...I had that question in my exam too...in which it asked for two options but had a radiobutton only...I marked the best suited answer(and got it right... )...that question was about cohesion or coupling I think...

Hey Guys... i too passed the OCPJP 6.0 Exam on 4th october 2010.. jst being a little late in posting this.
I got 96%. Overall it was 2.5 months effort(I probably took .5 months extra i feel), in which i studied KS & BB twice, solved each and every question at end of each chapter, solved questions from the CD provided with the book, solved a couple of ExamLab Mocks, read and participated in a few discussions related to SCJP here.. and did random tests on the net, not forgetting to mention that with every wrong answer attempted, i had to revise the topic again from the book(in this quest i may have read KS & BB 3-4 times i suppose).

At the end, may be i overdid the effort required.. but that still couldnt get me a 100% .. :-( Anyways, i believe that no effort goes waste and may be this too reaps rewards in the coming future.

I m currently preparing for SCWCD... and i m falling deeper and deeper in love with an Elephant named JAVA... :-)
