Hi,
I had an interview last week and I was asked "how many months did you take to complete a project" and I told them , for completing my struts project it took 6 months. Then they asked me how many hours you took for completing the view part and how many hours you took for completing the Database side work? Can anybody tell me what answer they are expecting from me for the above question.

I dont know why the Interviewers are not interested in knowing the Complexity of your project in discussion , rather the time being spent.

May be they are trying to find out the real complexity by knowing the time spent on

I don't know what they're expecting, but for my first project it took 3 weeks to set up the database stuff (Using EJB's and after the data model was complete on paper), and another 3 weeks to set up the template view screens and tiles.

Not a very good question though as typically (for me at least) projects are built in modules.
