Hi,

within a HTML form I have many buttons, each of which relate to self contained functionality. Rather than having one Struts action that can process all the buttons, I would rather have one Struts action related to each button on the HTML form. Is this possible in struts, if so any pointers would be appreciated?

thanks,

Susan

it only make sense to have individual action class for each button IF there is a separate form related to each button; otherwise, LookupDispatchAction or MappedDispatchAction is ideal here.

there is no clean way to do the action separation other than to use javascript to do form submit (which sets the form action url, then the form values, then call form.submit()).
