Hi,

I want to understand one thing from the book - page 353 a type attribute in <jsp:useBean>

For example if I have list of persons (class com.Person) and using <jsp:useBean> would it be?

Is com.Person an implementation of List? If not, that would make no sense.

The class attribute must have a class which is a subtype of the type attribute. In this case it most probably is not. If you already have a list of Person instances in page scope, then you don't even need the class attribute...
