Good Day,

Is it possible to use SessionScope and RequestScope at the same time?

I have a form that requires both.

When I use only one of the scopes, disables the functionality of other commandbuttons,

textareas and selectonemenus.

So I created two backing beans, named SessionScopeBean and RequestScopeBean.

When I tried to use them inside the page, only the RequestScopeBean functions.

Again is it possible? How?

Thanks in advance.

Binnie

It is possible to have both Session and Request-scoped objects in your form. Your approach to it is right as well. I have used two backing beans to have objects in both scopes. So probably posting your code would help.

Your JSF views can reference as many beans in as many scopes as people can stand before they form a mob and kill you. Session scope, request scope, application scope, View and Flash Scope (JSF2), mix and match to your heart's content. Just keep it sane.

Thanks Guys,

This information alone is a great help.

For the mean time, I'll try to analyze how to do it on my own.

If I get into trouble again, I'll just have to ask.

Again Thanks Guys!!!
