HI friends ,

i am kumar sukhani. I am working on a project in which i want to convert text into speech in j2me for my nokia mobile 6303 classic

can anyone suggest api for that as i am very new to this j2me field???

I don't think there are any TTS packages for JME. One possible approach would be to use a server - send the text to the server, have the server use a TTS package to create an MP3 (or some other suitable sound file format), and send that back to the device.

Or if you have just a fixed number of known texts, just ship the sound files with the executable.

its not possible to use server in my case..
any other suggestions you have???
