I am developing an web application under Java Rich Faces framework.

The problem I have is that I don't know how to produce a "redirect" to a new page without pushing any button.

Down is the code I am trying to finish.

The URI I want to navigate is stored on the variable "url.applet_url"

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>

<jsp:root xmlns:jsp="" version="2.1"
< contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8"/>
<f:loadBundle basename="mc.view.messageresource.MessageResources" var="url"/>

<af:document id="d1" title=" " binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_init.d1}" >

<af:form id="f1" binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_init.f1}"
inlineStyle="text-align:center;" defaultCommand="pt1:cb1" >
<af:pageTemplate viewId="/template1.jspx" value="#{bindings.pageTemplateBinding}" id="pt1">
<f:facet name="main">

<af:group binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_init.g1}" >
<af:spacer width="10" height="50"
<af:image id="img1" source="/img/loadingAnimation.gif" inlineStyle="text-align:left;" shortDesc=""/>
<af:goButton id="cb2" destination="#{url.applet_url}" visible="true" />

Can Anyone tell me how can I produce a redirect from this page to the URI stored on the url.applet_url variable?

Many thanks in advance

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
