I am in the middle of a project for class, which involves us re-creating our towns website. I was on Google, looking up some images when I saw the town square, in a way I have never seen it. Cars were flipped over, and their was a tank in the square. I found it extremely odd. So, after a little bit of 'research' I found out that some scenes from the movie Zombieland (<3) was filmed in my town, I feel special. Any movies that were filmed in/around your town that you care to post about?

If you missed that, how are you going to notice when there's a real zombie apocalypse?
There haven't been any movies in my home town, but several were filmed near by, for example A Christmas Story among others.

One of my favorite films, "A Serious Man," was filmed in and around Minneapolis...

(Also, the first "Star Wars" film (Episode IV) was filmed on my home planet.)

Austin is the home of many many movies. Some, you'd never be able to tell because we have lots of green-screen facilities (Spy Kids, Sin City, A Scanner Darkly), so all of the background scenes are computer generated. Others (Office Space, Slackers) feature lots of Austin scenery.

The earth doesn't move - all you have to do is look up and you can see everything revolves around it!!!
