Hi jason..

Nice point and i would show lot of interest and share what i went through with you.

I am jack of all and worked with microsoft technologies and sun both. when i joined this enterprise one of the largest organiztions. Our department is migrating towards java.. and in that process they want us to learn every fundamentals and get certified.

I was been assigned a job of devoping application and told by management to use struts though seemed illogical. as we could have done without that.

This gave me opportunity to learn struts though i realised servlets and jsp and learned both in detail so my learning went simultaneous.

I do agree what you trying to make out. The fact is>>

We cannot do justification to the struts frame work infact we cannot utilize it without knowing the basics of servlets and jsp.
