I have a JSP that is supposed to send a value selected from a radio button to a DAO class for processing. I have determined that the value is not being sent because I'm getting a NullPointerException in the DAO class at the point where the value coming in from the JSP is first referenced. Any ideas on why this is happening? First, here is my DAO. The variable in question is the String variable vote, and the error occurs at line 33.

Here is my JSP. It's the 2nd form that I'm trying to run, and it starts at line 80.

Problem solved. I forgot to update some of the variable names.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
