Hi All,

I'm new to web service development and I need to develop a web service application that transforms one XML message into another using XSL transform. The input and output XMLs are well specified using XML schema definitions.

I would like to use Spring-WS to do this but I can't seem to figure out a way to create a very simple web service that just accepts an input stream - all the Spring tutorials / examples talk about marshalling / unmarshalling using JAXB.

Could someone point me in the right direction for me please?

Hi!
I think that what you want to do is to develop a Provider-based web service endpoint implementation class.
I have only developed the kind of web service you ask for using pure JAX-WS.
You can find an example in section 9.4 of the document found here: http://www.slideshare.net/krizsan/scdjws-5-study-notes-3085287
The example does not include XSLT-transformation, but it should be simple to add something like that.
Best wishes!
