I have two servlets that are used to display charts with in a div tag of a jsp. The two charts show up as bmp icons with the red x indicating that the path is incorrect. Can someone help me to correct the path.

The servlets are in my java source folder and the jsp is in the web conten folder. Here is the jsp code. It is strange that the expanded charts display fine when the thumb nail ones do not.

Or that the images are corrupt or the response is otherwise invalid.

As your code is incomplete it's hard to tell what you are trying to do with all that script.

For example, you load into an element with an id of expandedDisplay. What is that? What does that servlet return as its response?

For what you say you are trying to do (simply load images via servlets) this all looks way over-complicated.

When the page initialily displays I have a header div with optons to control chart scope values and a body to display the charts in a thumb nail fashion(dashboard) Then charts are populated with live data. When you hover over the thumb nails the chart expands to a bigger size(just another servlet is called with bigger image. All this I got from examples on the web. Anyway my thumb nails are not displaying as charts when I deploy the app, it is working in development environment.
