Hi all,
I have a doubt. (If it is silly please bare with me). I can run with an .jsp extension in notepad. I can also use TOMCAT to run this. My doubt is what is the use of web server like tomcat in this case for jsp?

JSPs are managed by the Web Container like tomcat. You can edit them in Notepad, but to run them you need to deploy the application to some web container like Tomcat.
