hi,

i happened to take up my scwcd exam on aug 14th 2010. and actually also on 7th aug 2010 in which i hadnt cleared though. i didnt receive my certificate and i went up on 25th oct 2010 and checked at the test center. they had said after checking something that my "test status" was "open" for both the tests. i dont know what it means i was hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on that issue. and what they said was i should send a mail to suncert@prometric.com and i'd get the certificate in 15 working days. i did. i still havent got the certificate.

i'm not exactly sure what the problem is here. is there anyway to get a duplicate certificate atleast even if it has to involve paying some amount of money to the officials to send it by some courier service or something like that. and i would also like to know that, now that sun java certifications are also under Oracle, should i be approaching Oracle for the certificate.. ?

and one more thing i dont know if it came when no one was home or anything either. what do i do for that would it be in local post office or something.. ?

Thanks for your help.

This has nothing to do with your question, but did the retake policy change ? I thought we were expected to wait at least 2 weeks before retaking the exam.

its just a one week wait period. if you enroll for the exam online lets say at prometric.com/sun and get the voucher, you can choose the test date one week after the current exam date. i dont know if it was not like this before , but this time when i took it , i was able to enroll no problems at all.

and please does someone know what to do to get the certificate.
