Do you think there are design patterns we've used to apply in J2EE but, now, with new technologies, they are obsolete? If so, which of them are?

Service Locator [Use dependency Injection]
Business Delegate [Use java interfaces instead of EJB's remote interfaces]
Transfer Object [We can now use POJO for entities]

I would also say that you could use JPA managers instead of Data Access Objects.

A better question would be: What J2EE Design Patterns are still relevant?
