Hi Amith,

I had not heard of that course, but one I do know of is:
http://virtualpairprogrammers.com

I've already taken their Java Web Development course and quite liked it. They also have a Spring Fundamentals course, and one for Spring MVC and Webflow. (Their Spring courses use Spring 3.0)

Cheers,
Sean

Hi Amith,

I did Spring Jumpstart - very well designed with excellent content. And most importantly - very helpful instructors, always replied back promptly to my emails with real life examples. This learning experience was so much richer and different from the ebooks and dvds that I had used earlier to learn other topics where I was left on my own; and at times stuck and helpless. For me the experience was almost like a class room training.

And the best part was - I registered for this course during Spring 2.5. But as soon as Spring 3.0 got released the content was updated immediately and consequently I was coding on Spring 3.0 before any of my colleagues.

Would highly recommend.

Ben,

What was the cost of the course? I was curious, but couldn't find mention of it on that site.

Cheers,
Sean

Yes, I've also checked SpringPeople website(http://www.springpeople.com) for their online course.
Did you look at the demo of the virtual class they have given, I quiet liked that.

I've taken their Core Spring classroom training and that's unparalleled. I think they've structured this eLearning course on those standards.

All in all, looking at their high standards of training delivery and their direct association with SpringSource as training delivery partners, I feel this course will be up to the mark.

But this is my personal opinion, based on my past experience, you might like to speak to them personally and understand clearly before registering for the course.

Demo can be viewed on the following link: http://www.springpeople.com/courses/elearning/e-sjs.php

Bye

I paid $552, but I guess they are giving some discounts because my friend registered couple of weeks back for about $440.
