If I were to create following components , what API will you expose ?

You can use class/block diagram to expose internals of component .

1. Chart component that can render various types of charts , such as pie , bar , line
2. Spell checker component

HELP!

You can use JFreeChart (though there are lot of Chart APIs, even Google has its ChartAPI)

For this- You might get some useful APIs if you can Search on the Web. I just found one: http://jazzy.sourceforge.net/
