I need to know how to get the xy co-ordinates where my finger touches my screen.

This will allow me to do ANYTHING (based on touching..)

Yeah.. Touchness.. Cheers.

There's no built-in touchscreen API for Java ME, although some devices might include their own proprietary ones.

However, the touchscreen is normally presented as though it was a mouse device.

The downside to mouse-like-ness is that mice don't pinch/stretch, but that's a fairly new concept on any mobile platform.

OK.. Is the mouse-like API built in? There is almost no chance my phone has its own touch API.

I'd have to RTFM for the particular JME profile you're running, but it's a good bet.
