Hi guys,

I am going to prepare to pass the first step of scea exam.

And my plan of actions is :

1. Tutorial JEE5
2. Book Sun Entreprise Architect for Java EE Study guide (Paum Allen & Joseph Bambara)
3. Sun Certificied Entreprise for Java EE Study guide Second Edition (Mark Cade)
4. Mock examens

What do you think, guys ?

Thanks in advance.

You left out design patterns which are an important part of the exam. I recommend looking in this forum for people's experiences with the exam. Here's mine.

I'd add "make lots of notes" - you can read up notes online that others have made (I can share mine if you like) but the process of writing them down yourself goes a long way in helping remember stuff. Keep going over the notes until you have them coming out of your pores
Go all out on mock exams - none that I took (incl Whizlabs) came anywhere close to the difficulty level of the real exam, but it does give one an idea on what to expect.

Best of luck

Good points on the make lots of notes. I made flashcards for the things I didn't know. And then I found out I knew most of it after making the cards .
