Technology changing from java/j2ee to sap(ABAP) module

Hi Guys,

I brief about myself before start asking what i want to.
Basically i am java/j2ee developer in Banking domine working from past 4 years.
Since after looking into the market demand on SAP modules which are paid high compare to java related technologies , also feeling it have a good carrier in future. I am planing to learn SAP(ABAP or Net weaver) .

Is it worth to learning now ABAP or Net weaver or better to upgrade under java related integration tool like IBM MQ series and Message Broker (IBM MB). And if i do any of the above technology, is that possible to show add on to want i done for past 4 years in carrier to get good job ?

Can any one please suggest me which one to choose, because to do any one of the above i have to spend some big amount to take training. For SAP more institutes are available but for MQ and MB i dint find any one training in Bangalore.

Thanks in advance....

I'm not following. What do IBM MQ/IBM MB have to do with ABAP/NetWeaver?

I think the question was should the OP specialize in in the ERP space with SAP, or with messaging technology with IBM?

But... I do agree. The two options are far apart. Most of the time, when people need to make a decision, they are a bit closer (in relation) as options.
