I am using spring layout to design my form which contains eight fields. the challenge am having is collecting the information from the field and putting it into a database row by row. i used a for statement to create the form, That is using one texfield in a loop to run 8 times. do i use a loop to get out the information before sending it to the database? please help . Thanks

Yes, the for loop sounds logical.
Check out the Container#getComponentCount and Container#getComponent methods. You might find them useful
