I'm trying to have a component for scheduling school classes. So when you choose a date there should be a popup that shows reserved hours, and lets you insert start and end time. Is there any way to achieve this?

I'm not sure about RichFaces, although you might want to check the manual. If not, then look at Apache Tomahawk. I'm fairly sure at least one of these 2 frameworks can do what you want, and if RichFaces doesn't, at least it's safe to mix in Tomahawk components.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
