Two TransactionTemplate use my single application.

Dear experts,

In my spring application i have used two different daos,DataSourceTransactionManager, and TransactionTemplate(module1,common1) in various places. Please find below code more info,


Dao1.xml:

<bean id="transactionManager" class="org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DataSourceTransactionManager">
	  	<property name ="dataSource" >
			<ref bean ="dataSource" />
		</property>
  	</bean>
  	
  	<bean id="transactionTemplate" class ="org.springframework.transaction.support.TransactionTemplate">
  	  	<property name ="transactionManager" >
			<ref bean ="transactionManager" />
		</property>  	
  	</bean>
 	
<bean id="dataSource" class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryBean">
     <property name="jndiName">
        <value>${jndiName}</value>
     </property>
          <property name="resourceRef">
        <value>true</value>
     </property>
     </bean>

Dao2.xml:

<bean id="commonTransactionManager" class="org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DataSourceTransactionManager" >
	  	<property name ="dataSource" >
			<ref bean ="dataSource" />
		</property>
  	</bean>
  	
  	<bean id="commonTransactionTemplate" class ="org.springframework.transaction.support.TransactionTemplate">
  	  	<property name ="transactionManager" >
			<ref bean ="commonTransactionManager" />
		</property>  	
  	</bean>

<bean id="dataSource" class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryBean">
     <property name="jndiName">
        <value>${jndiName}</value>
     </property>
          <property name="resourceRef">
        <value>true</value>
     </property>
     </bean>

Is there going to create any performance issues?

What is your purpose for having two of them. Are you talking to two different databases? Need XA DataSources? Two-phase commit?

No the Template is using the TransactionManager. You would use the Template if you want to use a callback interface implementation to manually code Transactions yourself if you want to punish yourself. ;)
