Seems JNDI error  RSS feed

I am working in the RSA and Web Sphere environment ...

Already declared resource-ref-id in the Web.xml as url/sampleName
and using initCx.lookup("url/sampleName") .. but i am getting the follwing error.
Could load properties file. Context : ... /server1 . Name : url/sampleName . First Component in the Name is not found.


Can you guys please help me out

You don't need java:/comp/env/url/...?

Unfortunately , the JNDI lookup is not standardized by SUN people , and i dont know how whether Oracle does this or not , actually there is Server Dependency and you need to try with a lot of combinations .

Tell me what is the service you are trying to access using JNDI , and post your web.xml file
