Hi,

Can someone help me with this strange thing? I am using JSF 1.1, Tomahawk. And I have the following code in my jsp,

However, when I do a view source (or save as file), that segment is transformed to this,

Notice that the link tags and the script tags are not ended properly.

And as a result, none of my functions in the second JS file are not loaded, and none of my functions in the script block is loaded either. I tried to put in <f:verbatim>, but it has no effect. The code is still changed. Oh, and I put this in the head section of the html. This has been bothering me for quite awhile, and I am sure it's something stupid that I didn't do right. But I don't know what...

Please help. Thanks a lot.

Billy

Ok, so I think I know how to resolve this issue. I was using jsp:root for my declaration,

Then when I switched to using the following, it started working.

So can someone please tell me what's the difference between the two? I would prefer to use the first one, since we already have a lot of pages written in that form. Oh, and by the way, our application is developed using Netbeans rave UI (JSF 1.1). Because of some policy issue, we are changing it to Tomahawk 1.1.

Thanks,

Billy
