Has anybody else been watching this series on AMC? I've only seen the first four (of six), but I think it is simply a fabulous show. The zombies are really a sort of McGuffin. They are only there to drive the story forward.

It is VERY gory for a tv series. Heck, it's pretty gory for a horror/suspense movie. It is NOT for the faint of heart. If you can stand it, I think it's one of the best shows on TV.

I just started reading the comic book. I've heard the episodes correspond very closely to the book's storyline. I'm waiting to finish reading before I start watching the show, but I'm looking forward to it... the comic has been so addictive. I'd recommend it if you like the show. The illustrations of the zombies are awesome.

I'm not proud of this fact, but...

Zombies creep me out. For whatever reason, I can watch almost any horror movie and not be bothered by it - unless it's zombies. I have bad dreams after watching shows/movies like this.

I generally only watch this show for maybe one or two acts (depending on what's happening) per day, and never right before bed. I don't know why, but they just disturb me on some deeper level than any other monster/creature.

I have had bad dreams twice after watching this show.

And I still recommend it.

I love the show and the comic. The show follows the comics closely a lot of the time, but also has some substantial deviations from the comic - especially the last couple episodes. I think that's good - fans of the comic can still be surprised along the way.

Just watched the mid-season finale. I was NOT expecting that.

I still think this is one of the best shows on the air right now.
