hello. iv used tomcat previously but it was already set up and i got told how to use it.

im trying to use at now (a year or so on) and im doing something wrong.

everything works on the tomcat example side so i created my own folder under webapps and place a html file and java class file where they should be but im gettin a 500 error and i cant solve this.
error below.
thanks for my help / suggestions



could this have something to do with the javax.servlet package??

Perhaps the class was compiled with a newer version of Java than the one Tomcat is executing with?
